1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how [Syadu — registered business name] ("Syadu", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Taskzen, our task and team management platform. It applies to visitors of our public pages (like this one), to prospective customers who fill out an enquiry, and to registered companies and their users. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

2. Information We Collect

3. How We Use It

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers, and we don't run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on Taskzen.

4. Cookies

Taskzen uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in (a session cookie that's cleared when you close your browser, marked HttpOnly so scripts can't read it, and sent only over HTTPS where available). We don't currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this section.

5. Sharing With Third Parties

We don't sell your data. We share the minimum necessary information with a small number of service providers who help us run Taskzen:

6. Storage & Security

Your data is stored on our hosting provider's servers [name your host/region, e.g. "in India, via Hostinger"]. Passwords are stored encrypted (hashed), never in plain text. We use role-based access control (Admin/Manager/Employee) so team members only see what their role permits, and we log in-app permission checks server-side rather than trusting the browser alone. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

7. Company Data & Access

Taskzen is multi-tenant: your company's data (tasks, employees, etc.) is only visible to users within your own company, based on their assigned role. Our own platform Super Admin can access company data only for legitimate purposes — providing support, investigating abuse, or billing — not for browsing or any purpose unrelated to operating the service.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and company data for as long as your subscription/trial is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you wish to reactivate. Enquiry form submissions are retained long enough to respond to and follow up on them. Login activity logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes. You can request earlier deletion at any time — see Your Rights below.

9. Your Rights

You can review and update most of your information directly from within Taskzen (your profile, and — if you're an Admin — your company/employee records). For anything you can't change yourself, including requesting a copy of your data or deleting your account, email us at support@syadu.com and we'll action it within a reasonable time. If you're an employee of a company using Taskzen, some requests (like account deletion) may need to go through your company's Admin, since they're the data owner for your work records.

10. Children's Privacy

Taskzen is a business tool and isn't directed at, or intended for use by, children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Taskzen's features or our practices change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active customers by email.
