These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Taskzen, a task and team management platform operated by [Syadu — registered business name] ("Syadu", "we", "us", "our"), available at task.syadu.com and related subdomains. By creating an account, registering a company, or otherwise using Taskzen, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you're using Taskzen on behalf of a company or team, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these Terms on that organization's behalf, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.
Taskzen is a subscription-based (SaaS) task and project management tool. Depending on your plan, it provides features such as a Kanban task board, project and department management, employee/team-member records, task assignment and status tracking, reports, notifications, login activity logs, an optional AI Assistant, and related tools. We may add, change, or remove individual features over time as the product evolves; core task-management functionality will not be removed without reasonable notice to active paying customers.
Taskzen is multi-tenant: when you register, you create a "company" workspace, and every user you add (Admins, Managers, Employees) belongs to that workspace. You must provide accurate registration details (name, company name, work email, phone number) and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account and for the accounts of any team members you invite — including what data they enter and who they, in turn, grant access to.
Taskzen has three in-app roles — Admin, Manager, and Employee — each with different levels of access to company data, controlled by whoever holds the Admin role for your company. We're not responsible for how your organization chooses to configure roles, or for data an Admin/Manager chooses to make visible to other members of the same company.
New companies get a free trial period (currently 7 days, no card required) to evaluate Taskzen. After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription on one of our published plans. Payments are processed via Razorpay; we don't store your full card or bank details ourselves. Subscriptions renew for the billing cycle you selected (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled beforehand. Prices shown in the app or on our pricing page at the time of purchase/renewal apply. If a renewal payment fails, access to paid features may be paused until payment is resolved. Whatever your company enters into Taskzen — tasks, projects, employee records, comments, attachments, and similar business content — belongs to you. We access it only to operate the service, provide support, investigate abuse, or as described in our Privacy Policy. If your subscription lapses or your account is closed, we may retain your data for a reasonable period in case you wish to reactivate, after which it may be permanently deleted; you can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Contact Us).
If your company's Admin enables the optional AI Assistant feature, messages you send to it are processed by a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini or OpenAI, depending on what your Admin has configured) to generate a response. AI-generated responses can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong — don't rely on them for decisions without independent verification, and avoid entering sensitive personal or confidential information into the AI Assistant beyond what's necessary to get a useful answer.
We aim to keep Taskzen available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — maintenance, third-party outages (hosting, email, payment gateway), or unforeseen issues can occasionally cause downtime. Taskzen's software, design, branding, and the Syadu name/logo are the property of [Syadu — registered business name]. These Terms don't grant you any ownership in the platform itself — only the right to use it for your own business purposes under an active subscription (or trial). You retain all rights to the content and data your company creates within the platform.
You may stop using Taskzen and cancel your subscription at any time from Billing settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, don't pay for an active subscription, or where we're required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (like Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
Taskzen is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Syadu — registered business name] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, as we add features or as legal requirements change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continuing to use Taskzen after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. For material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active customers by email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [India / your state — e.g. "India, with courts in [City] having exclusive jurisdiction"], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
